  1. Hook Norton is situated in the rolling Cotswold hills just a few miles from the market town of Chipping Norton. Today was my first visit. This beautiful village is also home to the famous "Hooky" Brewery, attracting over 10,000 visitors each year. The brewery is one of only 32 family run breweries and also continues to operate its impressive Victorian Brewing Tower.

Today was another busy day in Hook Norton, but not because of the attraction of beer but the annual Hook Norton Christmas & Gift Fair. I was privileged to have been offered the chance to hold a stall and it proved to be a great day. With the venue packed to the rafters, I'd like to thank all the lovely people who popped by and especially those who took something away.

I will be delighted to return to Hook Norton again very soon to support any of you who I can assist again with any interior design or homeware requirements.

The next event I will be displaying my homeware and interior design services at will be at Yarlet School in Staffordshire on the 14th November. For those of you in Staffordshire who can make it - see you there!

  2. It has been a very busy few weeks!

Since launching my new website, I have had lots of feedback, all of which has been really valuable and for which I am very grateful. You will see further changes taking shape on the website including further blogs like this one featuring design commissions and what's new or soon to hit the online shop.

Its been amazing to think how far the website has reached in just a few weeks, with visitors from Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, USA, & Sweden joining the masses from the UK and Ireland.

Much of September was focused on an ongoing project at a lovely old West Oxfordshire farmhouse, with the room design, decoration, lampshades, lighting, headboards, carpeting, furniture, re-upholstory, curtains and poles for three rooms now almost complete. The main fabrics incorporated within the schemes are beautiful prints, by Peony & Sage. It will be soon time to move onto the next phase of the transformation. Various other jobs are underway too, including soft furnishing commissions and making up some bespoke signs in time for Christmas.

The competition winner for a personalised cushion has been announced - Rachael Clarke, from Shropshire - as a regular customer, I know she will be pleased.
